Together We Rise Minnesota is joining national partners at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and states across the State Priorities Partnership network in a national Week of Action from June 22–26, 2026. A digital blitz will take place on Wednesday, June 24 at 11 a.m. CST across social media.

During the week and weeks ahead, we have an opportunity to tell the story about what our state’s tax system should do today: raise the tax revenues needed to invest in people, communities, and the public services that ensure a strong, stable future for all Minnesotans.

Explore the latest analysis, research, and other resources on the federal budget reconciliation law (H.R. 1), which introduces harmful changes to the essential services that Minnesotans count on like health care, food assistance, housing, and more.

The first of many federal policy changes begin to take effect in the fall of 2026, but policymakers, nonprofit and community organizations, and advocates need to start preparing now for how these funding cuts and policy changes will affect Minnesotans.
