Mapping Minnesotans

The Minnesota Budget Project commissioned a survey of likely Minnesota voters in early 2021 to better understand the current policy landscape in Minnesota and measure the popularity levels of several budget priorities

Key findings include:
  • There is broad support for raising additional revenue by raising income taxes on high-income households and raising taxes on profitable corporations.

  • Voters support additional state spending to expand affordable child care and address racial inequities and provide equal opportunity for all Minnesotans.
